Ok, so its been pretty busy behind the scenes here. I have added some additional functionality on the back-end to the website.

Already, some 27 spambots, script-kiddies and other nefarious types have been blocked by the new Administrator account approval setup process. I've now added re-CAPTCHA which will require a response prior to being accepted.

Re-CAPTCHA is a challenge and response security setup to ensure that the visitor is human. Yes, it is a pain, but, its better than having the data-base flooded with comment spam for porn and viagra and then, breaking.

By way of user functionality, there are now forums for you to post to which include some business as well as pleasure options. General, non-WorkersOut! discussion can be held on the Cuppa-Break Chit Chat forum. We also have forums for MG, Fair Day, Events, Fundraising etc.,

You can see that there is a Poll ... these too have been setup. The Polls and Forums will be a way to democratise the website and also, provide additional ways for remote and rural members to contribute their views.

At this point, I'm tossing up whether Authenticated Users can create new Forum Topics and new Polls. This was how the previous iteration of the website became vulnerable under the self-set-up regime I'd previously employed.

With the difficulties surrounding the disaster recovery and importing data into this new WO! website, you can imagine that I am a bit loathe to the possibility of this website getting broken in the same fashion.
